Baby Bunting is Australia’s largest nursery retailer, dedicated to supporting parents through every step of their journey. Located in Browns Plains, this permanent part-time role offers a rotating roster across weekdays, evenings and weekends, with shifts aligned to RSA requirements.

You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrate products, manage stock and help new parents find the right solutions while maintaining store presentation and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Ability to calm irate customers with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical capability to lift up to 15 kg and stand for prolonged periods.

Located in the Browns Plains Homemaker Centre on Commerce Drive, this store is part of a busy retail precinct surrounded by major retailers and everyday conveniences, creating a steady flow of local customers. The location is easily accessible by car with ample free parking available, and is supported by nearby bus services, including the Browns Plains transport hub. With Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, cafés, restaurants and takeaway options close by, staff have plenty of choices for lunch and coffee breaks.

RSA 1: Tuesday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Sunday 12:00pm–5:00pm

RSA 2: Monday 10:00am–2:00pm | Thursday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Saturday 11:00am–4:00pm

RSA 3: Monday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Friday 12:30pm–5:30pm | Sunday 11:00am–4:00pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.

Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.

Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.

Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What You Bring To The Team

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
