Baby Bunting in Booval (Brisbanes nearby) is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant. You’ll deliver exceptional customer service, help new and expectant parents, and contribute to a positive, supportive shopping environment.

This permanent part-time role features a rotating roster, with shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends. You’ll engage customers, demonstrate product features, and ensure stock is accurate and well-presented, while maintaining a friendly team atmosphere and meeting performance

Located on Brisbane Road in Booval, this store is positioned within a convenient retail precinct close to Booval Fair Shopping Centre and a range of major retailers, services and local businesses. The location is easily accessible by car with free parking available, while Booval train station and local bus services provide convenient public transport options. With cafés, takeaway outlets and shopping facilities nearby, staff have plenty of choices for lunch, coffee and quick breaks.

Roster – Monday 10:00am–3:00pm | Sunday 10:00am–5:30pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.

Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.

Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.

Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team:

• Prior Customer Service Experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High Standards in customer service and store presentation.
• Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
