Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. invites an experienced retail property professional to join a four-centre portfolio across Sydney. Based in the inner-west, you will oversee day-to-day operations, retailer relationships, leasing, marketing and financial performance.

You will work with local teams, travel across sites with travel reimbursement, and develop your career within one of the world’s leading real estate services firms. This role emphasizes safety, presentation standards and driving centre income.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a shopping centre environment (administration, operations, tenancy coordination or similar).
  • Strong organisational skills with multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication with retailers, customers and internal teams.
  • Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Sydney portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations across four community shopping centres, maintaining presentation, safety and compliance.
  • Build relationships with retailers, supporting onboarding, lease administration, arrears management and lease compliance.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and events to drive foot traffic and retailer performance.
  • Drive casual mall leasing and identify opportunities to enhance centre income.
  • Assist with budgets, expense monitoring and monthly owner reporting.

This is an opportunity for a shopping centre professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.

On behalf of IFM Investors, you'll support the management of four community shopping centres across Sydney, gaining exposure to every aspect of retail property management. From retailer relationships and centre operations through to leasing, marketing and financial performance, you'll have the chance to broaden your skills while building confidence across a diverse retail portfolio.

Based in Sydney's inner west, this role offers variety, responsibility and genuine career development, all backed by experienced local teams and one of the world's leading real estate businesses.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage day-to-day operations across four community shopping centres, maintaining high standards of presentation, safety and compliance
  • Build strong relationships with retailers across the portfolio, supporting onboarding, lease administration, arrears management and lease compliance
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, community events and initiatives that drive foot traffic and retailer performance
  • Drive casual mall leasing and identify opportunities to enhance centre income
  • Assist with budgets, expense monitoring and monthly owner reporting, contributing to operational efficiency and centre performance
  • Partner with site teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure each centre operates smoothly and delivers a positive customer experience
About You

You've already built a foundation in a shopping centre environment and are looking for an opportunity to broaden your experience and continue developing your retail property career.

You enjoy building relationships, staying organised and managing competing priorities. Most importantly, you're keen to learn more about the full scope of shopping centre management and take on increasing responsibility within a supportive environment.

  • Experience in a shopping centre environment, whether in centre administration, retail operations, tenancy coordination or a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across different locations
  • A confident communicator who builds rapport easily with retailers, customers, contractors and internal teams
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn across all aspects of retail property management
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Sydney portfolio, with travel reimbursed
  • Current NSW Certificate of Registration, or willingness to obtain
