Job summary

Atkinson's Mitre 10 Hillarys is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our leadership team and take responsibility for day-to-day performance of the retail operation. This is a hands-on role focused on leading from the floor, driving sales and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in retail sales, supervision or management.
• Hardware, tools, building products, garden, trade retail or similar environment.
• Available to work Sunday to Thursday roster.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing our retail team and Department Leads.
• Driving exceptional customer service and sales performance.
• Maintaining high standards of store presentation, merchandising and promotional execution.
• Monitoring daily sales performance and identifying opportunities to improve results.
• Managing min's and max's and managing price updates.
• Working with the Inventory Manager to manage slow-moving and excess stock.
• Ensuring promotional ends, displays and catalogue activity are executed effectively.
• Managing rostering, team performance and day-to-day operational requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity and customer experience.
• Supporting local area marketing, promotions and community engagement.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and professional retail environment.
• Working with the General Manager to identify and implement new sales and business opportunities.
