Job summary

Mitre 10 in Maitland is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our store. This permanent full-time role reports to the Group Operations Manager and drives sales, performance, and a high-performing team culture delivering outstanding customer service.

As hands-on leader you will coach staff, manage wages, stock flow, presentation and costs, ensuring the right product mix and compliance. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm. Benefits include extra leave, parental leave and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership or store management experience, preferably in hardware.
• Understanding of stock management, cost control and financial performance.
• Strong customer focus, especially with building trades.
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop team to reach their full potential.
• Translate business strategy into store goals and action plans.
• Monitor performance and review financial and operational KPIs.
• Manage wages, stock flow, store presentation and operating costs.
• Ensure right product mix to meet customer needs and drive sales.
