Job summary

Elite Supplements Rockhampton is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to take full ownership of our Rockhampton store. You will drive store performance, manage revenue, gross profit, AOV, wage costs, and build a high‑performing team with a focus on exceptional customer service.

You will recruit, coach, and develop staff, set floor standards, monitor targets, and maintain presentation and stock control.

Retail Manager - Elite Supps Rockhampton

Retail Store Manager – Elite Supplements, Rockhampton QLD

Elite Supplements is Australia's leading specialist supplement retailer, with a network of more than 150 stores. We're looking for an experienced retail leader to take full ownership of our Rockhampton store and drive it forward.

This is not an entry-level role. We're after someone who has already run a store or a team, knows how to read a P&L, and can hold a team accountable to targets without being told how.

The role

You'll have end-to-end accountability for store performance — revenue, gross profit, average order value, private label mix and wage cost. You'll lead, coach and develop your team, set the standard on the floor, and build Rockhampton into the destination for serious customers across Rockhampton.

Day to day that means driving sales performance and exceeding targets, recruiting and developing staff, managing rosters and labour cost, controlling stock and shrinkage, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, and building genuine long-term customer relationships. You'll also support other stores in the region when required.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience managing a retail store or team, ideally in a KPI-driven, high-turnover environment. A demonstrated track record of hitting and beating sales targets. The maturity and judgement to make decisions independently and own the outcome. Strong people leadership — you can hire well, coach honestly, and lift under performers. Commercial literacy across sales, margin and wage cost. Solid product knowledge in sports nutrition, or the appetite to get there quickly. Full availability including weekends, and a current driver's licence.

Supplement industry, gym or fitness background is highly regarded but not essential if your retail leadership credentials are strong.
