Job summary

LDR Petroleum Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager for our BP Fuel Station at Carmila, Qld. Join a stable, well-established company and lead store operations to achieve sales and service targets.

You will oversee staff, inventory, pricing, and budgets while maintaining safety standards and delivering an outstanding customer experience at the BP site in Carmila.

Qualifications

• At least one year in a similar role.
• A Diploma level qualification is required.
• Proven ability to achieve sales, KPIs and manage stock take.
• Passion for retail and growing a retail management career.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fuel station branch and staff to deliver store objectives.
• Create a safe working environment for your team and customers.
• Be responsible for inventory management, stock takes, daily reconciliation, banking and other administrative duties as required.
• Ensure the customer experience is positive, leading to new opportunities and repeat business.
• Product selection and setting up prices by implementing competitive purchasing and pricing policies to reduce expenditure and increase sales.
• Markets products by advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyses operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• Ensure store operations and retail standards are implemented and maintained.
• Mantains store staff by recruiting, onboarding, orienting, and training new team members.
• Monitor and evaluate the overall performance of the store and of individual staff members to ensure service standards and goals are met.
• Prepare and control the store’s budget, aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
• Control costs without compromising standards and customer service.
• Manage new stock deliveries and merchandise the store.
• Ensure occupational health and safety guidelines are always maintained and adhered to by the staff.
