General Pants Co. is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager for our Murray Street store in Australia. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead the team on the floor, and drive performance to deliver a great in-store experience.

You’ll be responsible for coaching staff, managing rosters within wage budgets, and stepping in during the Store Manager’s absence. This role suits someone ready to take the next step in retail leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a retail supervisory or management role with a proven track record of delivering sales results
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting KPIs, wage budgets and store operations
• Ability to coach and develop team members in a fast-paced retail environment
• Passion for delivering an exceptional, customer-first experience

Responsibilities

• Drive the team to achieve sales targets, KPI goals and wage budgets in line with GP expectations
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, resolving issues with empathy and care
• Support rostering to ensure the right coverage while staying within the store wage budget
• Lead store walkthroughs and VM execution to keep product placement commercial and on-brand
• Step up in the Store Manager's absence, including payroll, timecards and full store operations
• Coach and develop the team, setting the standard for leadership and culture on the floor
