Gough Recruitment has partnered with a privately owned Australian property group to hire an experienced Retail Design Manager. You will lead the design and approvals of retail tenancies across a growing portfolio, aligning creative concepts with commercial viability.

Reporting to the Head of Property, you will oversee the full tenancy design lifecycle, coordinating retailers, designers, consultants and internal teams to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in retail design management, tenancy design, or retail project delivery.
• Exposure to shopping centres or major retailers and property environments.
• Qualification in architecture, interior architecture, or related discipline.

Aufgaben

• Lead tenancy design reviews from concept to store opening.
• Review submissions, drawings, signage, lighting, and fit-out docs.
• Provide practical design guidance to retailers and consultants.
• Manage design milestones and tenancy programme conflicts.
• Identify design, compliance and base-building issues and resolve them.
• Partner with Leasing, Asset and Property teams to delivery.
• Conduct site, compliance, defects and pre-opening inspections.
• Support ongoing tenancy design standard improvements.
