Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a Mid-Senior Interior Designer to take ownership of projects from concept through to documentation, working closely with clients and the internal delivery team.

You’ll shape workplace environments, balance creativity with technical delivery, and ensure buildable documentation. Join a collaborative team and contribute end-to-end from concept to construction; exposure to projects across Australia and growth within a design & construct business.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years interior design experience in commercial/workplace fitouts.
• Proficient in ArchiCAD or Revit; strong space planning and technical docs.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to completion.
• Confident presenting to clients and managing stakeholders.
• Comfortable in fast-paced design-construct environments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and attend client meetings, interpreting briefs into design solutions.
• Prepare initial space planning and floorplans.
• Develop look & feel concepts, including finishes, materials, and mood boards.
• Produce and coordinate a full set of design documentation for construction.
• Collaborate with internal project and delivery teams.
• Manage multiple projects across commercial fitout sectors.
• Contribute across all project phases from concept to completion.
