Bunnings is seeking a Department Manager to lead a 20+ person team, drive service, operations and stock management across a busy store. You’ll collaborate with Service, Inside the Home, Builders and Lifestyles & Garden teams, report to the Operations Manager and Complex Manager, and ensure Best Experience, safety and strong KPI performance while delivering the widest range and best prices.

The role includes 1 in 3 weekend rosters and public holiday work.

Formación

• Experience leading large teams in retail or high-volume environments.
• Strong focus on safety leadership and wellbeing.
• Ability to manage KPIs and deliver customer value.
• Experience with rostering and merchandising.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of 20+ to maintain an engaged and safe work environment, including opening/closing the store on weekdays and weekends.
• Build team capability on Best Experience and Safety Culture & Compliance, including engagement, performance management and recognition.
• Rostering and strategic planning to deliver on service promises.
• Drive department sales through merchandising and monitoring key metrics.
• Action customer feedback to improve end-to-end experience.
• Own department stock accuracy, adjustments, replenishment discipline and loss prevention.
