Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a casual Retail Customer Service Officer at Ulverstone Post Office to assist customers with sales, service, and parcel lodgements. You’ll work in a welcoming team, participate in training, and have opportunities for career growth within Australia Post.

You will handle cash and other payment types, promote products, and contribute to a positive customer experience across shifts in a community-focused role.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly and stand for your shift.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality.

Responsibilities

• Performing customer sales and service transactions.
• Managing high value transactions with cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS.
• Assisting customers with mail and parcels lodgements and related costs.
• Promoting products and services through up-selling and cross-selling.
