Job summary

Australia Post is hiring a Casual Retail Customer Service Officer to support customers and businesses across our post offices. You will handle sales and service transactions, promote products, manage mail lodgements, and build long-lasting customer relationships.

You will participate in a comprehensive 12-week training program, with ongoing support, and eligibility for district allowances. Training hours and shift patterns will be provided in advance, with a clear path for career growth within

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Able to lift up to 16kg and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer sales and service transactions.
• Manage high value transactions (cash, cheques, credit cards, EFTPOS).
• Conduct identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.
• Promote products and services through up-selling/cross-selling and promotions.
• Assist with mail and parcel lodgements and related costs.
• Build relationships by understanding customer needs.
