Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Retail Customer Service Officer in Port Macquarie Town Square Post Office. You will join a welcoming team delivering essential services, with paid training and a casual on-call schedule after training.

You’ll perform sales and service transactions, process various payments, and assist customers with mail, parcels, and identity services while promoting products and maintaining stock and records.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer sales and service transactions.
• Handle high value transactions accurately (cash, cheques, cards, EFTPOS).
• Process identity services transactions including passports.
• Promote products and services through upselling and promotions.
• Assist customers with mail and parcel lodgements and costs.
• Maintain stock and records; build relationships with customers.
