RACQ in Townsville invites you to join as a Retail Consultant, the friendly face for members, delivering great conversations, identifying needs, and matching with the right assistance and insurance solutions.

This full-time, fixed-term role runs 37.5 hours weekly, with a schedule including Saturdays every fortnight and a contract through to 11 September 2027. Competitive hourly rate and benefits help support a vibrant, community-focused team.

Beyond sales and service, you’ll be part of a store that’s deeply connected to its local community. Our Retail teams don’t just help members at the counter, they support local events, lend a hand when things go wrong, and build relationships that last well beyond a single visit.

What you can expect

• $36.13 per hour + Super + Penalty Rates
• Full-time position – 37.5 hours per week
• Rostered between 8:30AM – 5:15PM, Monday to Friday and 8:45AM – 1:15PM every second Saturday with a rostered weekday off each fortnight.
• This is a fixed term contract through to 11 September 2027

About you

Experience is great, but not essential, sales experience in a previous role is desirable, we’ll give you all the training you need. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
