Job summary

Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (RACQ) is hiring a Retail Consultant to be the friendly face of the store, engaging with members, understanding their needs, and recommending the right assistance and insurance solutions. The role emphasizes high-energy teamwork and local community involvement.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM on weekdays and 8:45 AM to 1:15 PM every second Saturday, plus a rostered weekday off each fortnight.

Qualifications

• Sales experience desirable.
• Friendly, warm and engaging communication.
• Comfortable using technology and talking to members in person and on the phone.

Beyondsales and service,you’llbe part of a storethat’sdeeply connected to its local community. Our Retail teamsdon’tjust help members at the counter, they support local events, lend a hand when things go wrong, and build relationships that last well beyond a single visit.

What you can expect:

• $36.13 per hour + Super + Penalty Rates
• Full-time position – 37.5 hours per week
• Rostered between 8:30AM – 5:15PM, Monday to Friday and 8:45AM – 1:15PM every second Saturday with a rostered weekday off each fortnight.

About you:
Experience is great, but not essential, sales experience ina previousrole is desirable,we’llgive you all the training you need. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
