Job summary

Royal Automobile Club of Queensland is hiring a Retail Consultant at Cairns Central Shopping Centre. You’ll be the friendly face for members, uncover needs quickly, and connect them with the right RACQ services and insurance solutions.

This full‑time role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with a 12‑month fixed term contract. Prior sales experience is welcome, but training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales is welcome but not essential, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet RACQ members, quickly uncover needs, and match them with the right assistance and insurance solutions.
• Deliver high-energy service, drive sales targets, and support local community engagement.
• Provide excellent counter service, both in person and over the phone, using available technology.

What you can expect:

• $36.13 per hour + Super
• Full-time position – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
• This is a 12-month fixed term contract

About you:Experience is great, but not essential, sales experience ina previousrole is desirable,we’llgive you all the training you need. What matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.
