Cash Converters is seeking a motivated Retail Assistant for our Goodna store in Queensland. You will deliver personalised service, share product knowledge, and help customers find the right second-hand items while keeping the store welcoming and well-presented.

As a Retail Assistant, you'll create exceptional customer experiences through personalised service and product knowledge, maintain a welcoming store environment that has our customers coming back and drive retail sales of our second-hand products.

About the Role

• Work with products you won't see anywhere else: From tech to tools and unique finds, you'll handle a constantly changing range of stock;
• Build real skills on the job: Learn how to sell, negotiate and make confident decisions;
• Learn how to value and price items: Research products, compare features, and develop real skills in product knowledge and decision-making;
• Deliver great customer experiences your way: Connect with customers, understand their needs, and help them find the right product or solution; and

About You

• Previous experience in customer service or within a retail environment is a bonus however, not essential;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team environment;
• Motivated to develop, with a desire to learn new skills and take on challenges;
• Enjoys variety, thriving in a role that keeps you on your toes;
• Confident communicator, comfortable starting conversations with customers; and
• Quick-thinking and adaptable, able to handle a variety of situations.
