Job summary

Flannerys Benowa is seeking a passionate, customer-focused Retail Assistant for a permanent part-time position commencing Sept/Oct 2026. Role 1 is 3 days/week (Mon/Wed/Fri 7am–3pm); Role 2 is 4 days/week (Mon 12pm–4pm, Tue/Thu 8am–4pm, Fri 8am–4pm).

Role 2 emphasises receiving and stock work; lifting may be required. Enjoy wellbeing days, staff discounts and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service experience is a must.
• Cash handling experience and POS familiarity required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Flexibility in working arrangements and schedule.
• Ability to manage stock and merchandise; some lifting may be required.
• Positive, teachable attitude and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, customer-centric service across store departments.
• Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately.
• Assist with stock control, displays and merchandising.
• Support team with inbound/outbound tasks and floor coverage.

Flannerys Benowa are on the lookout for a passionate and customer-centric Retail Assistant to join our vibrant team on a permanent part time basis - commencing in September/October, 2026.

If you're an all-rounder who loves serving customers and has a passion towards delivering amazing service, this could be just the role for you!

The hours? Good question! We have two opportunities available:

Role 1 (3 days per week) working a Monday (7am to 3pm), Wednesday (7am to 3pm) and Friday (7am to 3pm)

Role 2 (4 days per week) working a Monday (12pm to 4pm), Tuesday (8am to 4pm), Thursday (8am to 4pm) and Friday (8am to 4pm)

* Role 2 is slightly more receiving focussed, therefore the ability to lift is an important requirement of this position.
