Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate for our TK Maxx store in Loganholme, Queensland.

The role focuses on deterring theft, maintaining store assets, and ensuring customer and team safety through proactive on-floor presence and adherence to TJX Australia policies. Responsibilities include de-escalating incidents, submitting timely reports, and supporting the shrink reduction strategy.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Security and/or Loss Prevention in a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to identify and de-escalate risk.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations with Associates and Customers.
• Strong understanding of TJX policies and routines; willingness to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible floor presence to deter theft and fraud.
• Assist in de-escalation of customer incidents.
• Submit incident reports with evidence as required.
• Conduct equipment and system checks per policy.
• Support investigations as needed and escalate risks to the line manager.
