Job summary

TJX Australia is seeking a Full-Time Loss Prevention Associate for the Chatswood Westfield area. You will help reduce shrinkage, protect customers and colleagues, and maintain a secure store environment across Processing Centers, Corporate Offices, or TK Maxx Retail Stores.

Role involves using CCTV, alarms, and protection devices, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with local police and store teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention, security, customer service or related environment.
• Current Security License preferred.
• Experience operating CCTV, alarm systems, and computer applications.
• Strong observation and decision-making abilities.
• Calm, professional approach when dealing with incidents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible Loss Prevention presence to deter theft.
• Utilise security technology including CCTV, alarm systems, and merchandise protection devices.
• Conduct security and compliance checks, reporting incidents and risks as required.
• Respond to security incidents in a professional and policy-compliant manner, applying de-escalation techniques where required.
• Identify, investigate, and communicate shrinkage risks and trends.
• Build effective working relationships with store teams, center security, and local police.
