The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Loss Prevention Associate for the TK Maxx Fairfield store in Sydney's NSW region. You will deter theft, protect customers and staff, and uphold store safety while contributing to a secure, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention, security, customer service, or a related environment.
• Current Security License preferred (support may be available to obtain where applicable).
• Demonstrated experience operating CCTV systems, alarm systems, and computer applications.
• Strong observation skills with sound judgement and decision‑making ability.
• A calm, professional approach when dealing with incidents and challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible Loss Prevention presence to deter theft.
• Utilise security technology including CCTV, alarm systems, and merchandise protection devices.
• Conduct security and compliance checks, reporting incidents and risks as required.
• Respond to security incidents in a professional and policy‑compliant manner.
• Identify, investigate, and communicate shrinkage risks and trends.
• Build effective working relationships with store teams and local police.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a visible Loss Prevention presence to deter theft

• Utilise security technology including CCTV, alarm systems, and merchandise protection devices

• Conduct security and compliance checks, reporting incidents and risks as required

• Respond to security incidents in a professional and policy-compliant manner, applying de-escalation techniques where required

• Identify, investigate, and communicate shrinkage risks and trends

• Build effective working relationships with store teams, center security, and local police

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in loss prevention, security, customer service, or a related environment

• Current Security License preferred (support may be available to obtain where applicable)

• Demonstrated experience, or a strong willingness to develop capability, in operating CCTV systems, alarm systems, and computer applications

• Strong observation skills with sound judgement and decision-making ability

• A calm, professional approach when dealing with incidents and challenging situations
