Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Canberra seeks a Retail Manager to oversee a portfolio of institutionally owned retail assets on behalf of IFM Investors. You will manage centre performance, retailer relationships and financial outcomes, while progressing toward a Centre Manager role.

This role offers a clear mentoring pathway, collaboration with facilities, marketing and operations, and exposure to national and global opportunities within CBRE's retail platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail property, including managing centres or related roles.
• Certificate of Registration or ACT Real Estate Licence, or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding of retail leasing, centre operations and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day retail centre operations and retailer engagement.
• Oversee leases, occupancy, tenancy compliance and presentation standards.
• Drive centre financial performance including budgets, outgoings and monthly reporting.
• Prepare owner reports and contribute to asset strategy with IFM Investors.
• Collaborate with facilities, marketing and operations teams to deliver a high-performing centre.
