Job summary

Unique Building Services (UBS) is seeking a Restoration Project Manager to lead residential insurance reinstatement projects, with a focus on escape of liquid and water damage. You will coordinate with insurers, clients, trades, and internal teams to drive repairs from assessment to completion.

The role requires strong project delivery, safety, quality, budgeting, and stakeholder communication, plus mentoring others and ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and/or insurance building
• Knowledge of insurance procedures and policies is an advantage
• Understanding of building codes and industry benchmarks
• Strong people management and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Manage remediation and restoration projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to insurer guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate with restorers, hygienists, trades, and internal teams to align activities and track progress.
• Maintain relationships with property owners, insurers, and stakeholders through clear communication and proactive updates.
• Deliver excellent customer service by managing expectations and addressing concerns.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including scope validation, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
• Handle essential project administration such as site access, sign-offs, payments, and documentation.
• Mentor other project managers and participate in insurer-required training.
