Job summary

Tallan Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Restoration Manager / Lead Technician to lead the Restoraid division within our restoration and insurance repair business in Queensland. You will manage projects end-to-end, mentor a small team and drive client satisfaction with insurers, property managers and homeowners.

Ideal candidates will have IICRC certifications, a White Card, a current driver’s license, and proven leadership in water, mould or fire restoration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, HSEQ standards and company procedures.
• Maintain, monitor and manage restoration equipment and materials.
• Liaise with clients, insurers and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project satisfaction.
• Build on current workload through strong relationships with clients.

Tallan Group Pty Ltd is a growing Queensland-based construction, insurance repair and restoration business committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients when they need us most. Through our restoration division, Restoraid, we provide emergency response and specialist restoration services including water damage mitigation, mould remediation, fire and smoke restoration, and make-safe works across residential and commercial properties.

About the role

Restoraid is looking for a superstar Restoration Manager / Lead Technician who is passionate about the restoration industry and has the drive to lead, manage and grow our restoration division within our insurance repairs and construction business.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for managing restoration projects from start to finish while mentoring and developing a small team. You will oversee water, fire and mould remediation works, ensure exceptional client outcomes, maintain the highest safety and quality standards, and build strong relationships with insurers, clients and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, an excellent communicator and a natural leader with a strong focus on customer service, operational excellence and business growth. You will play a key role in both working in the business and helping shape its future direction, identifying opportunities to expand our client base, increase workload and establish Tallan as a leading restoration provider.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Highly organised with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure.
