Job summary

Cowan Restoration Group in NSW seeks an experienced Restoration Estimator / Supervisor to join our NSW operations. The role assesses restoration and remediation projects, prepares accurate scopes and estimates, and coordinates works to deliver safe, efficient results.

You will work on insurance restoration projects including water damage, mould remediation, fire and smoke damage, contents, liaising with customers, insurers, assessors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience assessing restoration and remediation projects.
• Ability to prepare accurate scopes and estimates.
• Coordinating works and ensuring safety and quality.
• Knowledge of IICRC standards and WHS requirements.
• Strong communication with customers, insurers and contractors.

Responsibilities

About the opportunity

Cowan Restoration Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Restoration Estimator / Supervisor to join our NSW operations.

This is a key operational role responsible for assessing restoration and remediation projects, preparing accurate scopes and estimates, coordinating works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll work across a variety of insurance restoration projects including water damage, mould remediation, fire and smoke damage, contents and specialist restoration, liaising directly with customers, insurers, assessors, hygienists, contractors and our internal teams.

This role would suit an experienced Restoration Technician ready to take the next step, an existing Supervisor or Estimator, or someone with strong insurance restoration experience looking for greater responsibility and career progression.

What you'll be doing

• Attend sites and complete restoration and remediation assessments
• Identify damage, required restoration methodology and appropriate scope of works
• Prepare detailed scopes, estimates and supporting documentation
• Complete moisture mapping, inspections and technical assessments
• Review reports, photographs, readings and other site documentation
• Coordinate technicians, contractors, equipment and project requirements
• Supervise restoration and remediation works from commencement through to completion
• Monitor job progress, costs, quality and compliance
• Liaise professionally with insured customers, insurers, loss adjusters, builders, hygienists and other stakeholders
• Identify variations and additional works and ensure these are documented appropriately
• Ensure projects comply with IICRC standards, WHS requirements and company procedures
