Job summary

DRC (NSW) Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Labourer to support restoration projects across Sydney. You will work across sites affected by fire, flood and mould and help with demolition, material removal and site clean-ups.

Ideal candidates have prior labouring or restoration exposure, a strong work ethic and the ability to work physically. On-the-job training and career progression to a Restoration Technician role are available.

Qualifications

• Previous labouring, construction or restoration experience preferred.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
• Reliability and ability to work well within a team.
• Valid driver’s licence (required).
• White Card (required or willing to obtain).
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist restoration technicians on site.
• Carry out demolition, strip-outs and removal of damaged materials.
• Assist with fire, flood and mould remediation works.
• Load, unload and move building materials and equipment.
• Carry out general site clean-ups.
• Set up and pack down equipment and work areas.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe work sites.
• Follow WHS procedures and correctly use PPE.
• Travel to various job sites as required.

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Labourer to join our team, working across restoration projects throughout Sydney and the surrounding areas.

This isn’t your typical labouring role. You’ll work across a variety of sites, including properties affected by fire, flood, mould and other damage.

For the right candidate, this role also offers the opportunity to learn the restoration industry and progress into a Restoration Technician role, with industry training and qualifications provided.
