Job summary

Kongs BBQ in Sydney, Australia seeks a Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities and maintain high standards of food and service. You will coordinate menu planning with chefs, manage stock, purchasing, and financial records, and ensure health and hygiene compliance.

You will lead front-of-house and kitchen staff, supervise service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction across a 7-day roster.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success within a similar role or work environment.
• Have a right to work in Australia.
• Previous experience (at least 2 years) in a similar role with references.
• Must be fully available over a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
• Planning menus in consultation with chefs
• Planning and organising special functions
• Managing purchasing, pricing and stock control
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Ensuring the restaurant complies with health and hygiene regulations
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and service standards
• Training and supervising front-of-house and kitchen staff
