Job summary

Longboards Laidback Eatery and Bar in Surfers Paradise, QLD, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team and oversee seven-day operations. The role focuses on team leadership, rostering, and maintaining an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in a management role in a fast-paced venue, proven staff supervision, POS knowledge, and RSA certification. Australian work visa with sponsorship potential is welcomed.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a management role in a fast paced venue with a proven track record in bar and casual restaurant operations.
• Experience supervising other team members on shift and training new team members.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a high-performance team culture.
• Sound knowledge of point of sale systems.
• Innovative management approach to drive sales and improve business.
• RSA certification is mandatory for this role.
• Current Australian work visa is required, with sponsorship opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: recruiting, rostering, training, and developing all front of house team members.
• Keeping guests happy and ensuring great service.
• Managing labour costs and rosters to optimise efficiency.
• Compliance: operate in line with liquor licence, security, WHS and RSA requirements.
