Job summary

Sunshine Beach Surf Club Restaurant is seeking a capable front-of-house supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in our busy bistro by the beach. You will supervise the front-of-house team, support service, and ensure excellent customer care with a hands-on leadership style.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in hospitality leadership, experience in busy venues, and a current Queensland RSA. Immediate start and Australian working rights are required for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in hospitality team leadership or supervision.
• Experience working in a busy bistro, restaurant or similar environment.
• Current Queensland RSA licence.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the front-of-house team and support day-to-day operations in a busy bistro environment.
• Lead by example in delivering high-quality customer service and hospitality standards.
• Coordinate the pass and support smooth service.
• Utilise point-of-sale systems to process orders and payments.
• Prepare coffee for customers.
• Complete end-of-night takings reconciliation.
• Handle customer needs and resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
