Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant full-time experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality management role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, staff management, and food safety compliance
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Managing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth front-of-house and back-of-house service delivery
• Preparing staff rosters, allocating duties, and monitoring labour costs to maintain operational efficiency
• Recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating staff to achieve high service standards and team performance
• Monitoring restaurant performance, preparing sales and operational reports, and supporting business growth objectives
• Managing stock control, inventory systems, supplier coordination, and purchasing procedures to minimise wastage and maintain adequate stock levels
• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, liquor licensing requirements, and workplace health and safety policies
• Supervising opening and closing procedures, POS operations, cash handling, banking, and end-of-day reconciliations
• Supporting the development of a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, productivity, and staff development
• Maintaining high operational standards and contributing to the ongoing success of the business
• Working knowledge of OH&S/WH&S
• A current RSA Certificate
