Job summary

Betty's Burgers is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Sydney to lead our fast-paced operation and oversee front and back of house. You will drive the new drive-through and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage costs, staff, training and daily performance to hit financial objectives while delivering genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in high-volume hospitality/QSR environments.
• Proven ability to manage drive-through and dine-in operations.
• Strong focus on cost control, inventory and staffing efficiency.

Job description

Betty's Burgers is a classic burger shack experience, showcasing the freshest and most delicious burgers in town. Together with our mouth watering burgers, our menu also features our delicious shakes.

We are seeking a highly skilled hospitality professional with strong knowledge of fast-paced food and beverage operations to step into the role of Restaurant General Manager!

Your role will report directly to the Operations Manager, driving the business forward and overseeing both front and back of house operations. As an established hospitality leader, you will lead by example and be hands on with your team across all aspects of management and restaurant operations.

As a Restaurant General Manager, your role will involve:

• Being the face of the restaurant
• Leading the opening and establishment of a new drive-through operation
• Meeting restaurant financial objectives
• Implementing marketing strategies to attract new business
• Controlling purchasing costs and inventory levels
• Maintaining operations by implementing policies and standard operating procedures
• Enhancing guest satisfaction by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring seamless and efficient service across dine in, takeaway, delivery, and drive-through
• Recruiting, onboarding, training, rostering, coaching, motivating and managing team members

What are we looking for?

• Leadership experience in high-volume hospitality/QSR environments
• Experience working in fast paced, drive-through environment
• Strong business acumen
• Demonstrated experience controlling labour costs and inventory in a high-volume QSR environment
• Exceptional presentation, communication, time management and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Ability to work a flexible rotating roster, including early mornings, late nights and weekends
• A strong focus on customer service and results driven performance
