Job summary

Linla in Sydney’s Surry Hills seeks an experienced Restaurant & Bar Supervisor to lead our front‑of‑house team in a full‑time role. You will be responsible for delivering premium service, managing seating and guest flow, and upholding high operational standards across restaurant and bar.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in a supervisory or senior server role, strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and RSA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years in a supervisory or senior server role in a full‑service restaurant or bar.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent customer service with ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house staff to maintain premium service standards.
• Manage daily restaurant and bar operations including seating and guest flow.
• Train and develop team members to enhance performance.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene regulations are followed.
• Maintain food and beverage quality and presentation.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Oversee inventory and ordering for bar and service areas.
• Process payments and manage POS transactions accurately.
• Support management in achieving financial targets and goals.
• Create a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
