Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Convention Centre is looking for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead day-to-day operations of Sola Restaurant & Bar, Deli Cafe and hotel pop-up venues.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on floor presence, guest connections and developing a high-performing Food & Beverage team, ensuring service excellence and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience leading a restaurant, bar or Food & Beverage operation.
• Strong leadership and a passion for developing people.
• Genuine focus on guest experience and service excellence.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience with Micros, Opera and 7Rooms is highly desirable.

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Sola Restaurant & Bar, Deli Cafe and hotel pop-up venues.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, connecting with guests and developing a high-performing team. You’ll take ownership of the restaurant and bar experience, driving service standards, team engagement and commercial performance.

• Commercial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Experience with Micros, Opera and 7Rooms is highly desirable
