Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Convention Centre on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Full-Time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will work across Sola Restaurant & Bar and Banquets, delivering high-quality food for restaurant service and large conferences and events.

You’ll collaborate with senior chefs to maintain quality, safety and presentation while guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

• Previous Chef de Partie experience within a hotel, restaurant or high-volume kitchen.
• A la carte experience with exposure to banquets highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work across multiple kitchen sections and service styles.
• Positive, team-focused approach with a genuine passion for food.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes across Sola Restaurant & Bar and Banquets.
• Support daily mise-en-place and preparation across different kitchen sections.
• Work closely with senior chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
• Support and guide junior kitchen team members.

• Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
