Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Convention Centre on the beautiful Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead Sola Restaurant & Bar, Deli Cafe and hotel pop-ups. This hands-on role combines floor leadership with developing a high-performing F&B team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You’ll drive service standards, manage costs and guest feedback, coordinate with Kitchen and hotel teams, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience leading a restaurant, bar or Food & Beverage operation
• Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing people
• A genuine focus on guest experience and service excellence
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations
• Commercial awareness and experience managing costs and budgets
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Current RSA certificate
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Experience with Micros, Opera and 7Rooms is highly desirable

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of Sola Restaurant & Bar, Deli Cafe and hotel pop-up venues. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, connecting with guests and developing a high‑performing team. You’ll take ownership of the restaurant and bar experience, driving service standards, team engagement and commercial performance.
