Job summary

Peninsula Pulmonary Function Laboratory in Frenchs Forest, NSW, is seeking a friendly Respiratory Physiologist to join our accredited, patient-focused team on a permanent part-time basis.

You will perform a range of diagnostic tests such as spirometry and body plethysmography, ensuring procedures meet TSANZ quality standards, with opportunities for ongoing training and professional development within a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Medical Science, Health Science, Nursing or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Experience performing pulmonary function testing and knowledge of TSANZ standards.

Responsibilities

• You will perform a range of respiratory diagnostic tests while ensuring all procedures meet accreditation and quality standards.
• A range of comprehensive respiratory testing and other specialised respiratory investigations (ie. spirometry, bodyplethysmography, gas transfer, bronchial challenges and so forth)

Join a respected, patient-focused respiratory laboratory

Peninsula Pulmonary Function Laboratory is a well-established private respiratory laboratory located in Frenchs Forest. As a fully accredited laboratory with the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), we provide high-quality respiratory diagnostic testing and support the Respiratory and Sleep Physicians of Peninsula Respiratory Group.

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to join our supportive team on a permanent part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Respiratory Physiologist/Scientist seeking a stable, long-term role, or for a healthcare/science graduate looking to develop specialised skills in respiratory diagnostics.
