Job summary

Meredith Respiratory & Sleep Centres in Bankstown, NSW, is seeking a Respiratory Lab Technician/Scientist (Casual) to join our team. The role involves collecting patient medical history, performing respiratory tests such as spirometry and allergy tests, recording results, and preparing patients for testing.

You will liaise with clinic doctors and staff, operate and maintain respiratory equipment, assist with administration, and may work at other locations.

Qualifications

• Qualification or current enrolment in medical science or medical related degree essential
• Experience in conducting respiratory and related tests preferred but not essential
• Must be sufficiently confident to be able to work alone
• Enjoy dealing with the general public
• Willingness to work at other locations if required
• Willingness to assist with administration and front desk functions

Respiratory Lab Technician/Scientist, Casual, Bankstown

Meredith Respiratory and Sleep Centre in Bankstown, a leading respiratory and sleep centre is in need of a Respiratory Lab Technician/Scientist.

The Role includes, but is not limited to:

Collection of patient medical information and history

Performance of various respiratory tests including lung function, spirometry, asthma and allergy tests

Accurate recording of results

Remuneration:

16 - 32 Hours per week, Monday to Fridays.
