Job summary

RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort in Coral Bay, WA, is seeking an experienced Resort Manager to lead the opening and daily operations of a brand-new destination. You will oversee all departments, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and drive exceptional guest experiences in a stunning coastal setting.

The role requires strong leadership, pre-opening experience, and a solid grasp of financial management. On-site living in Coral Bay and a focus on safety and service excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Resort Manager or in a senior leadership role within a resort or large hospitality operation.
• Experience in pre-opening and operational management.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a positive, high-performance culture.
• Solid understanding of financial management, KPIs and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening phase and launch the resort in mid-2026.
• Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team across all departments.
• Drive guest satisfaction and uphold RAC's service standards.
• Oversee daily operations across accommodation, F&B, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, and front office.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, procurement, and cost control.
• Build relationships with local stakeholders and suppliers.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure WHS compliance.
