Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. at Wyndham Port Douglas is seeking an experienced hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department.

You will ensure high standards in unit repairs, external property and resort common area maintenance in line with budgets and caretaker guidelines. You will also maintain records of repairs, contracts, inventories and fire safety, while liaising with Body Corporate requirements.

Qualifications

• Management experience in resort/property maintenance.
• Strong technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance (electrical, plumbing, building, pool).
• Experience with strata property management or holiday letting environments is a plus.
• Current First Aid certificate and understanding of OH&S principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coordinate and complete day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Maintain up-to-date records of repairs, contracts, inventories and fire safety.
