Job summary

Ramada Port Douglas, part of Travel + Leisure Co., is seeking an experienced hands-on Maintenance Officer to join the team. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department, caring for resort rooms and amenities, and supporting the preventative maintenance program.

You’ll also manage inventories, equipment, grounds, and related paperwork, while engaging with owners and guests in a polite, helpful manner.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a hospitality or related role.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact politely with owners and guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the maintenance department.
• Maintain resort rooms and amenities and oversee preventative maintenance.
• Manage inventories, equipment, and related paperwork.
• Care for resort grounds and gardens.
