Job summary

Laing + Simmons is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our residential property management portfolio across the Inner West. You’ll build your own pipeline through prospecting, referrals and local market activity, then guide each landlord from the first conversation through to a smooth handover with the property management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, leasing, sales or property management.
• Ability to generate leads and convert opportunities.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently while staying connected with teams.
• Must hold NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Win new managements through landlord conversations, rental appraisals and clear presentations of our service.
• Build referral relationships with our sales team, local professionals and investor contacts.
• Follow up opportunities consistently and keep accurate records in the CRM.
• Use local rental activity and property data to identify owners who may be considering a change of managing agent.
• Prepare proposals and management agreements, then ensure each new property is ready for handover.
• Track your activity, conversions and pipeline against agreed growth targets.
