Job summary

Uplift Recruitment is partnering with a major, well-capitalised residential property developer to appoint a Development Manager to its Sydney team. The role will span planning, commercial management, approvals and delivery on large apartment and mixed-use projects, reporting to the Project Director.

This opportunity suits an established Development Manager or a high-performing ADM ready for greater ownership, with strong residential development credentials and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Experience across medium to large-scale residential developments.
• Experience with a developer-side organisation or closely aligned client-side work.
• Experience preparing, updating or working with project feasibilities.
• Knowledge of planning, approvals, design, consultant procurement and project delivery.
• Financial capability across budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reporting.

Responsibilities

• Managing key aspects of residential projects across planning, approvals, design, procurement, construction and completion.
• Driiving project programmes in line with business plans and commercial objectives.
• Reviewing tenders and supporting consultant and contractor appointments.
• Preparing and maintaining project feasibilities, budgets and cash-flow reporting.
• Reporting on project progress, risks and financial performance.
