Job summary

KDC Australian Development Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on professional to support residential development projects in Sydney's CBD. You will assist from planning through construction, coordinating architects, engineers, planners, and other consultants on live projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in property development or construction, with strong reading of drawings and NSW lifecycle knowledge. English communication must be strong; Australian education is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property development or construction experience.
• Direct project experience with a property developer, residential builder, or integrated developer-builder.
• Practical understanding of the residential development and construction lifecycle in NSW.
• Experience coordinating consultants and working with builders on live projects.
• Exposure to development approvals, design coordination, procurement and delivery.
• Ability to read architectural, engineering and construction documentation.
• Australian education preferred with a tertiary qualification in Property Development, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication.
• Commercially minded, organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive, hands-on and willing to take ownership of tasks and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing residential development projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, planners, certifiers and other external consultants.
• Support project planning, budgeting, cost control, risk management and reporting.
• Assist with consultant and contractor procurement, fee proposals and contract administration.
• Monitor design development and ensure deliverables are coordinated with project requirements.
• Assist with development approvals and maintain approval trackers and project documentation.
• Liaise with builders, contractors and consultants during construction and site meetings.
• Review progress, identify risks and issues, and elevate to senior management.
• Assist with feasibility reviews, value management and improved outcomes.
• Build relationships with authorities, consultants, builders and stakeholders.
