Job summary

SLD Building Construction is seeking a proactive Design Coordinator in Burwood, Sydney, to support development, design and construction teams. You will coordinate and document design information to meet project requirements and timelines, while ensuring alignment with planning approvals and construction needs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in development or design coordination within the Australian property sector, with strong communication and document control skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in development coordination, design coordination or construction project coordination.
• Experience within the Australian property development or construction industry.
• Strong understanding of DA, CC and consultant coordination processes.
• Proficiency in project management and document control systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or other design coordination software will be highly regarded.

SLD is a growing Sydney developer-builder delivering residential and mixed-use projects across NSW. We work across the full property development and construction lifecycle, from concept design, planning and approvals through to construction delivery. As our project pipeline continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join our team in Burwood, Sydney.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Development, Design, Construction teams, you will help ensure design information is coordinated, documented and delivered in line with project requirements, planning approvals, construction requirements and project timelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in design coordination, property development, architectural documentation or residential construction looking to develop their career within a developer-builder environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in development coordination, design coordination or construction project coordination
• Experience within the Australian property development or construction industry
• Strong understanding of Development Application (DA), Construction Certificate (CC) and consultant coordination processes
• Proficiency in project management and document control systems
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM or other design coordination software will be highly regarded
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Property Development, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline
