Job summary

Stroud Homes Toowoomba is seeking a skilled construction supervisor to manage on-site activities, coordinate with sub-contractors, and ensure projects meet specifications and timelines. The role emphasizes proactive progress updates and strict schedule adherence within a family-run building company.

You will oversee safety standards, maintain subcontractor lists, and provide clear progress updates to clients and staff.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of construction supervision experience is required.
• Organised with the ability to operate to a strict schedule.
• Go-getter attitude in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work within set boundaries in the role.
• Experience in Construction or Supervision industry is highly regarded.
• Residential construction experience is specifically required for this position.

• Be first-point-of-contact to sub-contractors.
• Systematically and proactively chase the results required to keep jobs moving along.
• Prepare and track work and activity schedules.
• Carry out works in-line with specifications and plans.
• Provide Clients, Staff Members and Contractors with updates on progress.
• Maintain a sub-contractor list of skilled people for timely work.
• Ensure a high standard of Workplace Health and Safety at all times.
• Current White Card certification is required for this role.

The role purpose is to work with our sub-contractors and office staff to delivery high quality homes in a timely manner using our proven construction methods.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Assisting our Clients through the build process by providing them within in-depth weekly updates.
• Being first-point-of-contact to sub-contractors
• Systematically and proactively chase the results required to keep jobs moving along
• Preparing and tracking work and activity schedules
• Carrying out works in-line with specifications and plans
• Providing our Clients, Staff Members and Contractors with updates on progress
• Maintaining a sub-contractor list of skilled people that can carry out the work required effectively and timely
• Ensuring that a high standard of Workplace Health and Safety is maintained at all times
• Current White Card certification is required for this role

Skills and experience
