Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland Limited is seeking casual Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinators to support our Residential Aged Care homes and implement WesleyPlus across sites. You will design and deliver activities, engage residents, and work with care teams to promote wellbeing and meaningful experiences tailored to individual goals.

You will facilitate MyWay sessions, support integration of WesleyPlus initiatives and document outcomes while maintaining a person-centred approach to daily living for

Qualifications

• Experience in leisure and lifestyle, recreation, community services, aged care, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A creative and adaptable approach to program planning and delivery.
• Ability to engage residents with diverse needs, backgrounds and abilities.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Commitment to supporting positive ageing and resident choice.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' interests, preferences, strengths and abilities to develop personalised lifestyle programs.
• Plan and deliver engaging individual and group activities promoting wellbeing and social connection.
• Facilitate MyWay sessions and support WesleyPlus outcomes for residents.
• Support existing coordinators in implementing WesleyPlus and person-centred practices.
• Monitor, evaluate and document resident participation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align activities with care plans and goals.
• Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment that enhances quality of life.
