Job summary

Ingenia Lifestyle Ko (Gordonvale) is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a greenfield land lease community in the Cairns Region, with first residents due in early 2027.

You will be the face of the community, champion resident experience, and ensure safety, compliance and high presentation standards across the community. You will lead a dedicated team and build strong resident relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture where outstanding customer service is the foundation of every interaction.
• Build trusted and meaningful relationships with residents, Home Owners Committees and community stakeholders.
• Ensure residents feel welcomed, supported and valued throughout their entire journey within the community.
• Proactively seek resident feedback and implement initiatives that enhance satisfaction and community engagement.
• Resolve resident concerns with empathy, professionalism and a solution-focused approach.
• Champion resident wellbeing by fostering a connected, inclusive and engaging community environment.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team aligned with Ingenia's values and service standards.
• Create a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, collaboration and resident-first thinking.
• Encourage team members to identify opportunities to continually improve the resident experience.
• Oversee the daily operations of the community, ensuring high standards of presentation, safety and compliance.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and operational resources effectively.
• Coordinate maintenance, grounds and contractor activities to ensure a well-presented community environment.
• Ensure accurate administration, reporting and compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
• Manage risk, safety, emergency preparedness and operational audits.
• Support community events, activities and lifestyle programs that create connection and belonging.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver resident-focused initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Partner with Development, Sales & Marketing teams to deliver amenity and facilities in this growing community.
• Build relationships within the local community that provide additional value and opportunities for residents.
• Continually identify innovative ways to enhance the lifestyle offering and resident experience at Ingenia Lifestyle Ko.
