Job summary

Aveo Peregian Springs is seeking a Service Coordinator to support residents in a vibrant retirement living community. The role involves assisting with day-to-day needs, enquiries, and incidents, plus coordinating activities and ensuring a welcoming village atmosphere.

The position is permanent part-time with a roaster including evenings, sleepovers, and weekend shifts. Flexibility, strong customer service, and a calm, autonomous approach are essential to thrive in this busy, resident-focused

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in a community-focused environment (e.g. hospitality, retail, aged care or administration).
• Welcoming and dependable nature, with confidence working autonomously.
• Flexibility to assist with ad hoc duties across the village, including amenities upkeep, food and beverage support, and basic admin tasks.
• Confidence and responsibility to manage incidents and support residents during overnight stays.
• Adaptable rostering and shift arrangements to staff communities 24 hours a day.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).

Responsibilities

• Support café and kitchen teams during meal services to create an enjoyable dining experience.
• Provide general admin and concierge services to residents and assist with resident requests such as newsletters, event flyers, and activity updates.
• Be first responder to village issues including emergency calls, safety and security, and provide first aid where needed.
• Coordinate social and inclusive activities for residents.
• Provide all-rounder support across the village, including light domestic duties and maintaining shared spaces.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as creating resident newsletters, event flyers and helping communicate activities and updates.
