Job summary

VMCH is seeking an Accommodation Operational Lead to oversee four sites (Carrum, Koo Wee Rup, Endeavour Hills and Kialla) from its Mulgrave office. You will lead Team Leaders, manage rosters and ensure safe, person-centred accommodation services.

The role involves travel to sites, Monday–Friday work with no weekend shifts, and reporting to the SIL Manager. You will bring experience in disability, community or health services, strong communication skills and the ability to analyse data for

Qualifications

• Experience leading disability or community services teams.
• Strong ability to analyse data and prepare operational reports.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, staff and managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Team Leaders to deliver safe, high‑quality accommodation services.
• Oversee workforce planning, rosters, staffing levels and resource allocation, monitoring costs, leave and agency use.
• Support employee development, engagement and performance management in consultation with management and HR.
• Oversee incident review, investigate and escalate, coordinate NDIS reporting and use trends to strengthen safeguarding.
• Monitor compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and policies through audits, documentation and training oversight.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, guardians and stakeholders to resolve complex concerns.
• Champion workplace health and safety and drive continuous improvement.
